Design Decision/Approach: I created this artifact because the motivational theory really appealed to me. Our corporate environment provides incentives to their employees based on how the company does. The idea of this paper was to research the different types of motivation provided and determine whether or not the motivational theory is successful to all individuals. I also address Robert Gagné’s Conditions of Learning because it is a theory that I believe should be used in my corporations current curriculum in longer training courses. I believed learning more about these theories would help me improve the training in my company.

- This artifact used AECT Standard 1 - Content Knowledge by addressing the different learning theories needed in specific environments. This artifact specifically addresses Motivational theories and Robert Gagné’s Conditions of Learning and how that would be useful in different learning environments.
- The artifact also used AECT Standard 5 - Research heavily to determine how the Motivational Theory affects the corporate environment. Research was also to determine the use of Robert Gagné’s Conditions of Learning in different environments to effectively create learning material for certain audiences.
